The inspiration for this painting came from my garden with these lovely purple Dutch iris flowers that bloom for a short time each year, and the ruby-throated hummingbird we host each year, as well.
My name is Kathryn Duncan. I am an artist and painter, and find my inspiration in nature's beauty, colors, and backyard wildlife, especially birds.
